2020 census
This campaign, just awarded a Gold Effie, contained more than 1000 ads in
13 different languages, but the really difficult part was a 36-member committee that needed to be, ummm, lovingly guided through every concept, script and revision.
And then it went to Wilbur Ross (he has a particular pair of slippers
he wears during creative presentations).
Team Y&R brought me in as a freelance CD and eventually tasked me with presenting
the agency's work to the approval committee and senior stakeholders.
Working with eight other agencies, we gave birth to a multi-cultural, 360 ad campaign.
This year-long gig was a memorable lesson in perseverance and navigating
the complexities of a governmental approval process, while mentoring young talent
and keeping team morale high.
